Engine
Cast aluminum block and head construction, front transversally mounted.
1995 cm3 , water cooled turbo charged. Bore: 83mm, stroke: 92.1mm. 2 OHC belt driven and solid tappets. 4 valves per cylinder positioned in V at 25°. Oil radiator. Compression ratio: 8.1:1
Engine output: 315Bhp @ 5300rpm. Engine torque: 520Nm @ 3500rpm. Garrett/Allied Signal TR 30R turbo charger Magneti-Marelli Step 9 engine management (the previous version was using a Marelli MR3 ECU)
Transmission
Full time four wheel drive. Prodrive active/hydro-electronically controlled front, center and rear differentials. 50%-50% F-R torque distribution. Six speed Hewland/Prodrive/Seat reworked non synchronized, sequential shift gear box transversally mounted. Carbon triple plate clutch hydraulically actuated.
High ratio rack and pinion, power assisted steering.
Suspension
Front: Independent McPherson struts lower wishbone, coil springs and Öhlins gas shock absorbers, cabin adjustable antiroll bar.
Rear: Independent McPherson struts lower wishbone, coil springs and Öhlins gas shock absorbers, cabin adjustable antiroll bar.
Brakes
Front: 380mm vented disks fixed 6 pot water cooled aluminum calipers.
Rear: 304mm vented disks fixed 4 pot aluminum calipers.
