Seat Ibiza FR 1.2 or 1.4?

Hello everyone,

I'm 23, currently driving a 1.2 Clio with 2 years no claims. I've been looking for a second car and pretty sure I would like to have a Seat Ibiza FR (sporty styling, vw made, cheap tax). Clio.
There seems to be about £ 1000-2000 similar condition, age, mileage etc. But it's not worth it. I'm looking for a young girl to be at home.

Probably wouldn't bother remapping it, your insurance will either increase cost quite dramatically or completely disallow it if you're young.

The 1.4 should be quite a bit more nippy if the power estimates I see are correct: 104bhp (1.2), 140bhp (1.4).

So, I'd say get the 1.4 unless there is some reason why you can't, such as insurance cost.
